We founded mikamaro Urban Bikes ( at that time still mika amaro) in 2009. We introduced our first models, single speed bikes, in 2010. A lot has changed since then. For example, we recognized very early on that belt drives make riding more fun. They are maintenance-free, quiet and durable. Rattling chains and dirty pant legs are now a thing of the past. We are constantly working on new innovative solutions for our bikes and have introduced a variety of new models – from single speed to 8/11 speed urban bikes with or without disc brakes to gravel bikes.
However, one thing has not changed. We still build our bikes by hand, with the aim of producing high-quality and beautiful urban bikes that inspire our customers and give them a lot of riding pleasure.
